Just down the hill from Shaftesbury sits Mere in a sleepy small town full of natural streams and interesting pathways for anyone that’s loves nature walks.

Not a cloud in the sky last sunday went for a walk across fields with masses of thistles drying in the sun and hedgerows full of wild berries for the birds and picked some crab apples to make jam.

Came across this wild area on a walk not far from where I live .Dried ,golden grasses and thistles with fluffy tops.A huge exspance of sky where slits of light appeared ,flashes of blue and silvery grey to white soft clouds.
