This is the darkest month as I wondered about along the Pine walk trail along from the abbey yesterday.

I see across the moving dark ,murky ,clouds and see the light on the highest hills of the chalk downs .Beyond that eventually is the sea.

The pretty ,pink and apricot light made a beautiful tint to my hanging on honeysuckle and little cherry pink roses this morning.

Explosions of bright colours out of the foggy ,smokey night appeared in front of my house.The whizz,bangs and crackles excite you like when you were a child.

The art garden in September is still got touches of pink valariem everywhere and I keep looking to see if a butterfly might drop in if it warms up a bit more.

Last evening watched,stood,admired and waited for the sun to drop down parallel to Duncliffe ancient hill covered in trees .The picture was taken from castle hill and where the castle once stood in Shaftesbury ,dorset.
