Went to beautiful Arne today with my my mum it was stunningly bright and sharp the light and the air was like ice. It is one of our favourite places to study for our paintings that we create.

The dazzerling orange light over the Purbecks was so strong and made all the earthy tones on the hills glow.

Special area of outstanding beauty is the islands of the Purbecks situated not far from Studland perninsular and magic to study from a boat.

Breathtaking scenery on top of the Purbeck ridgeway you see above the cliffs below and as you are walking up to it all you see is the soft lilac,blue sea beyond the ridge.

This tranquil place is to be studied from Studland looking across to “little sea” and the baseline is the element to most of my paintings.
