I grew up here looking out of my bedroom window from the age of five and I still have this ancient ,majestic view of Wincombe woods to the east .Its the entrance to wiltshire but I’m seeing it from dorset .

Today I climbed up Hambledon hill it’s a Neolithic fort .Its very steep and windy and in a hidden part of North dorset .The light shone just for a short moment and quickly captured the top ridge and the sun over the dorset gap beyond.

The dazzerling orange light over the Purbecks was so strong and made all the earthy tones on the hills glow.

My art journey led me to the Deverills .Its dark ridge rippled across the wiltshire landscape and beyond the blue light hung over Dorset.
