On a misty lake I had a a vision of reed beds and different coloured waterlilies floating on the lake .

Is a hidden gem tucked away on the edge of Coombe heath it sparkles when the light hits the lake and it’s covered with yellow king cups ,blades of marsh grasses and bull rushes.

These beautiful gardens at Stourhead are enchanting and when you walk around the lake you are drawn to the light and shadows on the lake.

My adventure today was a relaxing ,therapeutic time at Stourhead gardens . I looked across the lake and a glint of light lit up the water.

At the back of Stourhead gardens is a wonderful area of natural beauty hidden down in a dip and a lovely walk up to Alfred’s tower in wiltshire.

Where I live I’m surrounded by trees this is an art study inspired by a special place that I go to lots “Stourhead” in wiltshire it’s a place to capture the imagination & reflect on when I was a child .
