Our art journey took us to the Arne and Coombe heath yesterday .The golden grasses shimmered on the purple heath and the view of the estuary ,Rempstone forest and the Purbeck hills beyond.

The other day we went there we walked up from the bottom of the castle through woods and a trickerling stream flowing down to the top of Corfe village.

Came across this wild area on a walk not far from where I live .Dried ,golden grasses and thistles with fluffy tops.A huge exspance of sky where slits of light appeared ,flashes of blue and silvery grey to white soft clouds.

In august the colours are richer than ever on the dorset chalk hills.

This idea ,concept was taken as it was about to resin .The trees became dark as the sky came overcast and the poppies alumminated in the cool breeze.
