What a gorgeous day today 29th December and topped it off with an orange sunset through the blackthorns and brambles of the vale of Wincombe just over the Dorset border into Wiltshire -Where I live.

They appear like snow in the hedgerows ,deep banks or woods .They love shade but need pockets of sunlight occasionally to awaken them.

Not a cloud in the sky last sunday went for a walk across fields with masses of thistles drying in the sun and hedgerows full of wild berries for the birds and picked some crab apples to make jam.
