Our art journey took us to the Arne and Coombe heath yesterday .The golden grasses shimmered on the purple heath and the view of the estuary ,Rempstone forest and the Purbeck hills beyond.
Inspired by this area of natural beauty Studland is covered with Heather, grasses and sand dunes .I created this painting from walking along the heather trail .
Came across this wild area on a walk not far from where I live .Dried ,golden grasses and thistles with fluffy tops.A huge exspance of sky where slits of light appeared ,flashes of blue and silvery grey to white soft clouds.
