Just come back from an amazing experience at Tout quarry on Portland as you walk through the place it’s full of sculptures and all made with the Purbeck stone that was used to build St Paul’s cathedral in London.

The last of the summer butterflies in England are the red admirals I was delighted to see one in the enchanted tropical gardens of Abbotsbury in dorset by the chesil coast,

Last evening watched,stood,admired and waited for the sun to drop down parallel to Duncliffe ancient hill covered in trees .The picture was taken from castle hill and where the castle once stood in Shaftesbury ,dorset.

Not a cloud in the sky last sunday went for a walk across fields with masses of thistles drying in the sun and hedgerows full of wild berries for the birds and picked some crab apples to make jam.
