The art garden in September is still got touches of pink valariem everywhere and I keep looking to see if a butterfly might drop in if it warms up a bit more.

The last of the summer butterflies in England are the red admirals I was delighted to see one in the enchanted tropical gardens of Abbotsbury in dorset by the chesil coast,

Last evening watched,stood,admired and waited for the sun to drop down parallel to Duncliffe ancient hill covered in trees .The picture was taken from castle hill and where the castle once stood in Shaftesbury ,dorset.

The sika deer at Arne were grazing in the water meadows by the edge of Coombe heath.They had there young and were very amused by my presence and iPad which has a bright red cover good job it wasn’t a bull.

Our art journey took us to the Arne and Coombe heath yesterday .The golden grasses shimmered on the purple heath and the view of the estuary ,Rempstone forest and the Purbeck hills beyond.

Is a hidden gem tucked away on the edge of Coombe heath it sparkles when the light hits the lake and it’s covered with yellow king cups ,blades of marsh grasses and bull rushes.

Atmospheric over Osmington mills . The sky came over all dark which appeared a blot of light came through the smoky clouds and lit up the scortched grass and thistle heads.

The other day we went there we walked up from the bottom of the castle through woods and a trickerling stream flowing down to the top of Corfe village.
