Corfe Common is spectacular when viewed at dusk.The light over the Purbeck hills illuminates over the whole area in a beautiful part of south Dorset on the edge of Corfe. The heathland is wonderful to walk, full of richness of colours all year round and the wildlife is abundant.

A bright cold,breezy day in early march looking up at Corfe castle in Dorset. A warm bowl of soup and a savoury scone in the national trust tea room sitting by a blazing fire was a perfect way to spend the afternoon.
