Day 2,”Blue pool at Furzebrook in Dorset. we take shelter under our umbrellas at the water’s edge and wait for the rain to stop.It dosent !Walking swiftly to the “Tea house” we tuck into a cream tea by the blazing log fire – it feels like autumn than late spring.

Day 2 Just a few miles from Corfe castle the Blue pool at Furzebrook shimmers in the rain.The sky is grey but the pool is the colour of kingfishers – jade green and turquoise blue.

Appeared out of the dark exspressive sky a long rainbow over the vale of wincombe very special .

Day 1 Boar mill – Corfe. Time stands still – Corfe towering obove the mill cottage below.A waterfall cascades into the little stream which winds it way through the orchard garden to join the Corfe river.

Day 1 A day out in Corfe. Taking shelter in the national trust tea room below the castle- tucked into a very special cream tea.Scone of the month – cranberry and lemon served with homemade lemon curd and thick Dorset cream. Simply delicious.
