Light on gentle stream gently falling along the bottom of Corfe castle.

A bright cold,breezy day in early march looking up at Corfe castle in Dorset. A warm bowl of soup and a savoury scone in the national trust tea room sitting by a blazing fire was a perfect way to spend the afternoon.

The sun shines on the leafless trees but the march wind us biting and cold.We know they will become green again and the wind will turn to the south but are impatient for this to happen.

Today I climbed up Hambledon hill it’s a Neolithic fort .Its very steep and windy and in a hidden part of North dorset .The light shone just for a short moment and quickly captured the top ridge and the sun over the dorset gap beyond.

The dazzerling orange light over the Purbecks was so strong and made all the earthy tones on the hills glow.
