I’m driving from wiltshire across the Wessex way and I’m so excited to see the strong ,rich,vibrant,colours of the Mandarin sky .

On my way home I had to pull the car over and take this pic of the slit of Mandarin sunset sky over the Wessex way towards dorset.

In my thoughts when I paint I have vivid memories of that Mandarin sunset in early November .

I see across the moving dark ,murky ,clouds and see the light on the highest hills of the chalk downs .Beyond that eventually is the sea.
